2) Wait a few minutes, clear the cache again and refresh (one of our CDN servers may have had a short temporary outage).

Spaces-in-URL bug?

Just clicking around, getting a feel for what you guys offer, and I noticed that you reported a user as having downloaded an URL with spaces, but instead of reporting it as "/url%20with%20spaces"--which is how it is on my site, and how the user retrieved the file--, clicky reported it as "/url+with+spaces"--which is a 404, and had me panicking until I checked my server logs and saw everything was a-okay.

Maybe that's some JS quirk, but if it isn't it'd be nice if the reported URLs were actually accurate. ;) (I know, I know, I should probably just stop using spaces given their tendency to be problematic.)

(I noticed this on uid=2044534092583461839, if you're inclined look it up in your system.)

We do convert all space characters to + for consistency, because some browsers will log those characters back to us as one or the other, even on the same site. On the server end, there should be no difference between %20 and +, as both resolve to a space. Obviously this is not the case on your end but really this only affects the ability to click a link from our site to go to your site.

I'm aware that in some cases %20 and + are considered equivalent in query strings, but I don't recall coming across anything which considers them equivalent in the path component of an URL.

But, like you said, it's not exactly a critical issue, just a minor annoyance. Ah well.

As the tempareture inceasing hot day after day, and the step of summer vocation is just around the corner, what plan do you made for your vivid summer?Swimming in the sea and hang about in the sand beach is a common plan year by year and one by one. Maybe you can travel around the ice island or going to an icy palace to enjoy with all your heart with different scenery. Or you can stay at home to participate in Diablo III. It is very popular at the moment and Diablo series is a legend. What do you think about? Buy Diablo 3 Gold
