Best Practices for tracking marketing site and appI'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for the best way to handle tracking visitors on a marketing site and the corresponding app such that it is easy to identify usage patterns of each.
Right now, we simply create a separate account for the marketing site and the app. We're going to start running some campaigns and setting some goals off of them and now are running into the issue of the completion of a goal sits on a different account (start on marketing site, end in app). And any goals achieved in the marketing site would not carry over to the app.
Any suggestions or pointers are appreciated.
