1) Clear your browser's cache and refresh the page.

2) Wait a few minutes, clear the cache again and refresh (one of our CDN servers may have had a short temporary outage).

Cookies being set despite cookies_disable

Hi, all,

I'm using clicky_custom.cookies_disable on http://www.fairlymarvellous.co.uk but I'm still seeing two cookies being set.

Both are __cfduid, one set by getclicky.com the other by static.getclicky.com

Have I placed my code incorrectly?

Thanks!

Those are cloudflare cookies.

But they're put there by Clicky, aren't they?

If they cannot be turned off then it means I cannot use Clicky webstats legally without getting the visitor's permission. Shame.

Sorry, you're right, since we use Cloudflare for our CDN they do create a cookie for the domain that's pointing to Cloudflare (in this case static.getclicky.com). Their wiki says cookies can't be disabled:

http://support.cloudflare.com/kb/troubleshooting/can-i-disable-cloudflare-cookies

But I have sent them an email to ask about, since this law will have an impact on that.
