Event Pingbacks via http notifications?
Is this possible with get clicky? Trying to track conversions with pingback notifications as well as piggyback pixel tracking via Impact Radius. For now, I'm just trying to focus on the pingback option. Here's a copy and paste from their wiki:Event pingbacks are http notifications sent by Impact Radius via HTTP request when an event such as an action, click or call occurs. Pingback settings allow you to feed real-time event data into your internal reporting systems by specifying parameters in your account action URL template located in the Pingback Settings page of your account. Below is a technical specification that covers the advertiser pingback API.
The Action Pingback API enables media partners to get notified when a new action is generated, and when an existing action goes through a state transition. The Impact Radius system will issue a HTTP(S) request to a URL, based on a URL template. This URL template is specified by the media partner in the Event Pingback Settings under Account Settings.
Action pingback API example
(spaces added within urls to keep within clicky url post limits)
ht tp s:/ /ww w. somemediapartner. com?myCampaignId={CAMPAIGNID}&theMpId={MEDIAPARTNERID}&theActionId={ACTIONID}&status={STATUS}&lockingDate={LOCKINGDATE}&mpPayout={PAYOUT}&saleAmt={AMOUNT}
Notice the properties defined within curly brackets.
The actual request will be for the URL (assuming corresponding parameter values):
htt ps:/ / ww w .s omemediapartner. com?myCampaignId=5&theMpId=10&theActionId=123&status=PENDING&lockingDate=2009-05-08&mpPayout=34.67&saleAmt=120.00
