mac/firefox users not tracked at all?Hello everybody,
Today I realized, that the whole clicky system was not able to track a user with a mac and firefox browser at all. What is wrong here? I sense many differences in tracking capabilities depending on which operating system or browser someone uses? Why is that?

The Firefox browser may be running AdBlock or a similar plugin that block tracking code from loading within the browser. Some proxy servers do the same based on the default block rules they are using.

Yes it's very likely adblock. A lot of the lists you can download for adblock also include as a "free bonus" (gee thanks) the ability to block trackign services like getclicky.com.
Other common reasons include they are using some other kind of privacy software which is blocking our servers, or they are behind a corporate firewall which either may be blocking our servers on purpose, or it only allows people to view authorized pages.

I can eliminate adblock from the list definitely. Also no privacy software was running.

i am NOT using adblock and experience the same issue: downloads tracked (using clicky.log) for ie/chrome, but not firefox/safari.
