tracking outbound links on banners

Is is possible to track outbound licks on banners (jpg, gif, etc) as opposed to text links. I want to eliminate banners that are not receiving clicks. Google could not tell me this so that's why I'm with Clicky.

Thanks,
GT

How are the ads integrated into your site? You're using Google Ads?

No, they are affiliate banner ads. Frankly, I don't think the banner ads get that many clicks but I would like to verify that before I dump them.

They should be tracked automatically then. As long as you're not filtering yourself from your stats (via cookie or IP), then try clicking on yourself and see if it gets tracked. One thing that would help make sure the click gets tracked everytime is if the links open a new window, so that the tracking can happen in the background.
