GetClicky and Mailchimp - Tracking clicks from email

Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how to setup GetClicky and Mailchimp in order for Getclicky to accurately track clicks coming from a Mailchimp sent EDMs.

Any particular settings I need to enable on Mailchimp (we enable Ecommerce360 to help track clicks for our ecommerce store) and on GetClicky?

You need to change any links within the email from Mailchimp to include additional parameters so that Clicky can track the incoming url, and then setup the campaign in Clicky. So in the email, instead of linking to www.somesite.com, link to www.somesite.com?ref=email.

thanks mbsportsweb. So basically everything will have to have the campaign ref affixed to links manually? Wish there was an automated way, but all good!

Mailchimp has integration with Google Analytics, which uses the "dynamic campaign" tags, e.g. utm_campaign, utm_content, etc. Clicky supports these, so just pretend you're doing it for Google in their interface and presto magico, you'll the data in your Clicky campaign reports!

Yeah, what Sean said. We're seeing all of our Mailchimp traffic in Clicky just from activating Analytics in Mailchimp. Sweet.
