goal tracking with meta redirects

Hi,
on my sites, I use html redirects to mask affiliate links:
on the page, the link would be mysite.com/go/english.html

and the html file would look like:
meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="1; url=http://www.wintrillions.com/?account=CatfishTPA&track=ol365en"

But the goals are not tracking?

Of the page redirects before the Clicky tracking code loads then it will not track.

I see. Is there a way to add some code to the redirect so that it happens with a delay of, say, 1 second?
I found this: meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="1; url=http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html
Would that make the goal tracking work?
