Question about tabulating site visits

I have a general question about how Clicky tabulates stat results compared to Statcounter, which I used to use. I've noticed that Clicky's site visit results are about 20% lower than Statcounter's. I've also noticed that in Statcounter my site visits include deleted tags and possibly bot crawl visits.

I was wondering if other users have compared Clicky to other stat products & found a reason for the discrepancies. I'm inclined to think Clicky is giving me a better picture of my actual human traffic, but wanted to confirm that.
