Using custom API

Hi guys,

I need help on two issues

1. I'm using custom utm tags (ref, source & category) in my outgoing URLs and clicky tracks them perfectly. No issues there. But when I try to use the API to find the number of visitors, goal, actions for a particular ref-source-category combination, I get the results for the entire traffic. I'm using the API url in the following manner.

"site_id=xxxx&sitekey=xxxx&type=visitors&date=xxxx&custom[REF]=xxxx&custom[Source]=xxxx&custom[Category]=xxxx"

2. I'm trying to use excel to query the API in JSON format using JSONPathonURL from SEOTools in order to create a customized dashboard for analysis. I get an error saying that the JSON element is an Array and an Object is expected. I did some digging around and found that clicky gives JSON output starting with "[" which is taken as an Array beginning. Is there some work around for this?
