clicky.pause (500) what's the impact overall?
Hi there.
Throughout one of the websites I manage I have implemented Clicky goals coding in the following way:
<a onclick="clicky.goal( 'Added Item' ); clicky.pause( 500 "
My question is that overall what is the wait time of that 500 means that at least 1/2 a second will pass before the action of the button is allowed to be initiated by the web-server?
If that is the case then it could give us a slightly slower on-site UX. Are there any suggestions for what I can bring this timing down to? I am currently looking to trim as much easy fat as possible off a 12 second average page load time so I'll start with the easy ones!!
Thanks all.
