Not tracking referring links

Hi

I have set up a new tracking code for a new site and I can see referring domains/links are being shown in Spy, but are showing as direct traffic on the dashboard?

I have multiple sites with clicky but only this one is having the issue

I am using the asynchronous code and it seems in order to me.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

I have gotten to the bottom of this.

With clicky, if you have a website say motogptoday.com and receive traffic form a similiar domain name (but a different site) eg gptoday.com then clicky is not coded well to realise it is a seperate domain.

If the referring domain includes your domain name, then clicky counts it as direct traffic despite showing it as a referring domain in Spy...

So again you have thistopic.com and if youget traffic from topic.com them clicky counts it has direct traffic...
