New features. Some of them might seem broken, and here's why!
Our new release is out. It's been in the works for almost 30 days. There is a metric happy ton of new stuff in here, especially if you use goals. But… it's been a LONG 48 hours preparing for some big database changes behind the scenes, so the last thing I want to do right now is write the nice, detailed blog post this release deserves. I'll do that after some sleep! Plus, that will give the database servers a chance to process some of the new data we're tracking, so I can show you screenshots of the new features with real data from Clicky's traffic.
There are a few features I want to discuss right now, because if I don't, you're going to think they're broken. That's because they rely on a core feature that we just added for unique visitors, where we now track how many times each unique person has visited your site, and the session ID of their first visit.

ClickyTouch for iPhone
Steve Reynolds has spent the last few weeks developing a native iPhone application called ClickyTouch. It looks pretty dang slick and you can download it right here. Steve's description of the app:
Keep up to date throughout every view of your stats, with self refreshing data such as active users on your site, your bounce rate, average session time and overall comparison percentage versus this time yesterday. In as many cases as possible, data refreshes whilst you look at it! No refresh buttons here!

Updates to the new Clicky
Before bringing "small site" mode back (we disabled it right after official new Clicky release because of serious bugginess), we asked you to help us test the new code on beta.getclicky.com. No one reported any bugs with it so it should be good now!

Reasoning and motivation for change
Hi. Regarding our new interface. We've been blogging and tweeting about it and had it publicly available to all users for over a month, because we value your feedback and we care about you. If you care about Clicky, we feel it is your responsibility to monitor these communication channels that we use on a very regular basis. We are very open and transparent about everything we do.
During the beta period, we had many thousands of people use it and the vast majority of the feedback was very positive. Just go look at the old blog posts yourself to see the comments people were leaving. The only consistent complaint we got was that it's not centered, but otherwise most people loved it. Based on that much feedback from that many people, we knew we were going in the right direction.

The New Clicky
After nearly 2 months of development, the new Clicky is now live. Here's what it looks like:
If you haven't been following our blog, we've had a public beta of our new interface available since September 16. (Hint: this is a good reason to read our blog. We announce important things on it!). The vast majority of the feedback has been very positive, which is remarkable for such a big change.
