Coupon code or student discount?
I'm teetering on the edge of going for Clicky Pro Plus. I'd go for pro, because my site is small (relatively), but I REALLY want heatmapping. That's a dealbreaker for me. It's just that $15 a month is a lot for a student for something that's debatable in value.
Are there any new customer coupon codes, or student discounts available? My budget is around $10 a month.

Get a job mate..or monitize your site. Dealbraker.....champagne taste with a beer income.

What an unfriendly a$$hole reply.
The answer is that they don't do discounts - they're already operating on narrow margins to undercut the competition. Do you really really need heatmapping? Doesn't work properly on modern 'responsive' sites anyway. I don't think the extra for pro plus is worth it just for heatmapping for a small site. Get the Pro and see if all the stat you're getting make up for the lack of heatmapping.
What's your site?

Also, this doesn't really make sense:
"I REALLY want heatmapping. That's a dealbreaker for me."
and then
"$15 a month is a lot for a student for something that's debatable in value."
Either it's so important to you that it's a dealbreaker, or it's debatable in value. Can't be both. Sounds to me like it's not really that worth it to you, you just think it's cool. So go with Pro.

Stop wanting things on the cheap - false sense of entitlement I guess...

They have a free version for a reason, if you can't afford or don't want to pay for the pro version than don't. The free version will give you plenty of information and as you said you don't have a large site so you won't need to worry about limits. I started building websites when I was 8, at 24 now and doing it professionally, I've been through the "I have no money" and got to a point where I could afford the tools I wanted by freelancing and other work when I was younger. There are other free alternative analytics tools as well.

You can have an heatmap function on your website with this open source project for free : http://www.labsmedia.com/clickheat/index.html
