Can I segment my site into eg womans clothes, mens clothes and other groups, and use clicky to give me information on the visitors preferences, so I can present relevant items on the welcome page?

You'll have to be much more specific. If your site has different pages for those segments (like yourdomain.com/womansclothes and yourdomain.com/mensclothes), and you have clicky on each of those pages, then you should be able see page specific data on the Content Section of Clicky.

Although Im not sure what exactly youre trying to do.
