Page filter isn't working, or I'm not doing it right

Hello,

I recently added a video overlay ad to my site. Suddenly my "actions" became very inflated. Closer examination revealed it was the "media" hits from the video player inflating the numbers. Because the video loads on most page loads, and "actions" is counting these as if they are separate pageloads the user has chosen to view, which is misleading and makes my year-to-year "actions" comparisons worthless.

I went to filters > pages and added a filter for the video's URL, but it's not working. Am I doing something wrong, or is there no way to have Clicky just ignore hits to that ad?

And if not, is there a way to make it just show Pageloads in place of actions? I can't find an option for that in Preferences.
