The difference probably lies in new vs. unique.

If your your ACTIONS might be greater here, or VISITORS may be less, the following thread is good,

… however several people, like you, asked the question Of why you have MORE visits (not actions) on Google analytics. One of my users noted the following, which I found really helpful!

He said:

"It appears that any length of time would constitute a visit. Google breaks down the duration of visits as 0-10 seconds, 11-30 seconds, 31 to 60 seconds, and so on. They give you a monthly percentage of visitor durations. Each visit is counted. Even the 0-10 second visits (thanks goodness, because a large percentage of my visitors fall into this category)."

There is no problem. Many of our customers use both at the same time.

But yes, as serenexity pointed out, is "visitors" the only number that's bigger in Clicky? But other things are mostly the same? In that case, that just indicates our method of tracking uniques is a bit different. Otherwise, if all of your stats are larger on Clicky, you may have installed the tracking code twice by accident (which would double your page views) or you may not have Google installed on every page.

I read a book on google analytics once.....in a nut shell, it took a few hundred pages to explain all the rules used when they count visitors, visits, pageviews, etc. Some included, some excluded, etc.
