tracking code: //static.getclicky.com/js

When I add the tracking code to my site, as given, I get an error:
jsFailed to load resource: The requested URL was not found on this server.
If I change //static.getclicky.com/js to http://static.getclicky.com/js, it seems to work.
Is this ok?

Yes that is ok. Whatever program you are pasting the code into must not like the // method - which is valid code. It allows browsers to automatically choose http or https depending on the context of the page.
