API and filtering hostnames

Is it possible to specify a wildcard search on hostnames?

I am trying to get a count of all visitors that come from .edu domains.

I want to do something like this:

... api/stats/4?site_id=xxx&sitekey=xxx&type=visitors-list&visitor-details=time_pretty,ip_address,session_id,landing_page,domain,hostname&hostname=[WHAT DO I PUT HERE????]&output=xml

But I can't figure out how to specify a wildcard hostname. Entering a specific domain (e.g. hostname=brown.edu) works.
