The number of outbound links tracked seems low

When a link is clicked, we inject a little "pause" before the link is followed. But the current page still gets unloaded eventually for the new page to load. As soon as the unload process starts, the hit being sent to our tracking servers will get interrupted if it has not completed yet. This is especially a problem for visitors overseas (Clicky is based in the US).

There are two solutions. The first and best one is to make your outbound links open in a new window. This will ensure our code always has all the time it needs to send the click to our tracking servers in the background while the link opens in a new tab or window.

The other solution is to increase the length of the pause, which defaults to 500 milliseconds. Increasing the pause will increase accuracy, but past half a second it gets quite noticeable. See custom tracking for details.
