We determine a visitor's location and organization based on their IP address. The databases we use are provided and updated monthly by a third party company.

Excluding VPN traffic, country-level accuracy is 99.8%. City-level accuracy ranges varies greatly depending on the country, but within 15 miles / 25km, it is generally between 60% and 90%. Accuracy again varies between broadband and mobile visitors, with broadband users having much greater accuracy.
