Manual goals are pre-defined but called as completed via Javascript.

Troubleshooting

If you have defined a funnel for this goal, calling the goal via Javascript will not flag is as completed unless the visitor has passed through the funnel.

Make sure you are using the proper Javascript method to declare your goal.

Use your browser's javascript console to ensure a call is being made to our tracking servers when your goal is executed.

Double check that you are calling the correct goal ID. Goal IDs are listed on the goal setup page, next to each goal on the right hand side:
